The harms that e-cigarette may cause
An E-cigarette is an electronic device that can be used by heating a liquid which creates vapor in a person’s inhales. The liquid will burn at a lower temperature than the traditional one. While an e-cigarette doesn’t contain any tar like a traditional cigarette. However, it still produces other toxic chemicals, particularly hard or heavy metals such as things like cadmium and other metals
E-cigarettes is also commonly known as vape pens, it comes in a smorgasbord of flavors to satisfy other user’s taste: apple, vanilla, strawberry and something called snap. One online distributor touts 300 flavors. Of course, for the traditionalist, there are the tobacco and menthol flavors. Do not be fooled though, by the slick marketing and think you are not putting your health at risk.
The ingredients that are produced to make an e-cigarette are much different than the products produced by a traditional tobacco cigarette. So, using it may still be harmful to the lungs. But researchers do not have enough research yet that tells us how much less harmful it is using in an e-cigarette versus a traditional tobacco cigarette. More research is needed to identify the differences between e-cigarettes and vape pens, and how much harm they can get from tobacco cigarettes.
